The King Is Back!!

Michael Jackson is set to play a residency at the London O2 Arena later this year.

The initial summer dates of the residency are set to be announced on Thursday (March 5), reports Sky News. Further dates are expected to be added following the initial announcement and depending on fan demand.

Jackson may appear at a press conference at the venue to make the announcement. The shows are expected to be the only dates he will play this year.

The world's greatest r&b & pop artist ever (yeah, I said it!), returns this year to celebrate his 50th birthday in style. First up is his new greatest hits package King Of Pop. Yeah, I know what you're about to say: "Another greatest hits??!". Well, unlike Number Ones, Essential or even Michael Jackson & The Jackson 5, this will have a tracklist voted for by fans! Also, work on the new album is nearly complete. Whilst details are stil scarce, these things have been confirmed: There will be production from Will. I. Am & Akon amongst others & it's being co-written by Ne-Yo! The first single is "Hold My Hand" a duet with Akon, that leaked 2 weeks ago.

Also,Roberto Cavalli confirmed that not only is the comeback tour officially underway, but that he's designing the costumes! Sweet!.
